Prime Lock Plus is an alkyd primer, sealer, and stain blocker with a strong hiding power for interior usage as well as spot priming external surfaces.
Priming plaster, drywall, wood, and previously painted or varnished surfaces has never been easier. Any oil or latex paint can be used as a topcoat. It has great enamel holdout and won't raise the grain of the wood. It adheres well to both glossy and non-glossy surfaces. It effectively blocks bleeding stains like fire and smoke damage, water stains, cedar or redwood tannin stains, crayon, lipstick, inks, and much more. If there are any severe water stains or pine knots, you may need to apply another layer of Prime Lock Plus before applying the final coat. Under most wall coverings, it can also be used as a primer.
