Description
The Wooster Brush Company was founded in 1851 and is one of the oldest paint applicator producers in the United States. Adam Foss, the creator of our company, relocated from Pennsylvania to Ohio. In a modest two-story structure in Wooster, Ohio, he began making handmade bristle paintbrushes, which he subsequently marketed door-to-door around the state. In 1909, the Wooster Brush Company purchased land on Madison Avenue and erected a new facility. The structure was 70 feet wide and 200 feet long, allowing for three times the amount of floor space previously available. The company's headquarters are still located on Madison Avenue in Wooster, Ohio.
